The first computer games looked like simple graphics and gaming with single coloring and

movement.The first computer games ran on simple computers at the University of Cambridge.The

 first console based system Magnavox Odyssey the games that the console features were 12

games and one called ping pong baer

.How games improved in the 1980`s were with new major

game titles that opened the doors to a new generation of gaming.Improved consoles with

improved graphics and game-play.The new games that rose in the 1980`s that were popular were

 pac-man and donkey kong. Pac-man featured the first animated main character. and was the first

 game adapted to atari. Donkey kong was the first game to have multiple levels with a character that

everyone knows today as jump-man,donkey kong, The new features in games in the 1990`s were

huge

the games evolved with way better graphics and new gameplay like a first person shooter there was

a lot more violence in video games there was parental worries. MMO gaming begins to become

popular thanks to war-craft.

They were major advances making new titles that entertain the players

with new game-play and visual graphics. The dominant platforms in the aughts were the xbox,xbox

360,ps2,and ps3. The Wii got players off the couch getting gamers involved with there games

 making it a huge hit in 2009.The current trends in games in the present decade are the Xbox

One and PS4 these two systems have gone above and beyond all gamers expectations. Creating mind

blowing graphics and enjoyment to the gamers really giving "Power To The Gamers".How I envision

 games growing in the future are with virtual reality gaming much like the oculus rift.

    Games have evolved in the 20th century from going from a simple tic-tac-toe game to a multi

gaming universe of atari ,nintendo and playstation simple graphics to 1st and 3rd person gaming

 creating multiple gaming enjoyment.21st century is where consoles took a huge advancement in

developing new platforms to keep gamers happy but instead eradicated there minds by going above

there expectations creating Next gen ps4 and xbox one.  I like the ps4 best because of its wide game

selection and online servers that cooperate splendidly with the users internet connection its advanced

 graphics and changeable hard drive and support of 2tb or more memory extend. 

  I hope to be able to pass this class and achieve skills that are taught to me in this class and maintain

 those skills

 throughout my educational life.   The skills needed to make high quality games are programming

 skills and communication skills.The skills that I will have to be developed to become the best

developer I can be are the programming skills and communication skills.
